GreenLetter: Who should earn more?

It’s interesting to watch the feud in Hollywood. Some of the highest paid people in the world (actors) are fighting with the other highest paid people in the world (corporate executives) over who should have more.

The backdrop for the strike is the dawn of generative AI, which will soon be able to replace many writing and later acting jobs. Hollywood doesn’t like that very much.

It’s hard to take this argument entirely seriously, though. Actors are striking and airing their outrage on the technology platforms they’re protesting take telegram advertising service against. In addition, film itself was once a technological revolution and – as an art form based on innovation – it inevitably has to transform from time to time.

But I’m most curious about what actors’ work will look like in the future. Maybe their job will simply be to lead the most interesting off-screen lives possible, so as to add content to the “face” they own and which is generatively inserted into films and games.

For some reason, the creators of Cyberpunk put a model modeled and voiced by Keanu Reeves in the game. The consumer wants to know that there is a human behind the computer model.

Hollywood Rebellion

Hollywood is experiencing the largest joint strike of actors and writers in 60 years. They are demanding, among other things, better pay and higher royalties in the era of streaming platforms and the establishment of rules for the use of AI in the entertainment industry (e.g. the use of actors’ images). They are also criticizing the huge salaries impact on share visual content of the CEOs of the largest companies in the film industry, such as Amazon, Disney, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery . Famous names are joining the strike, most recently leading actors, including Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon and Florence Pugh, who walked out of the premiere of the famous production “Oppenheimer”. The revolt in Hollywood, if it does not end soon, will disrupt the fall schedule and cause major delays in the production of many films and series.

Shopify prices for business meetings

How much do company meetings cost? Shopify decided to calculate it precisely. The company introduced a meeting cost calculator that is integrated with the employee calendar. The tool uses data on the average salary, meeting duration and number cg leads of participants to calculate it. For example, a 30-minute meeting with three employees can cost from $700 to $1,600. This amount increases to $2,000 if the managing director participates. The calculator is intended to make employees think twice before organizing a meeting, because it clearly illustrates the financial consequences of ineffective or unnecessary meetups.
